Printing notes

        

          
Browser printing. In the print dialog choose your Zebra or Godex driver, set paper to the same size as above, scale to 100% (not “fit to page”), and turn margins off. The page size is already embedded in the label.

          
Direct ZPL. Copying the ZPL and sending it to the printer’s port skips the driver entirely and gives the sharpest bars, because the printer renders them at exact dot boundaries. The layout matches, but the text comes out in the printer’s own built-in font — print through the driver when you want the typewriter face of the sample label.

          
Scan quality. Keep the module width at or above 0.25 mm and the barcode at least 8 mm tall. The module width is the width of the thinnest bar: widen the barcode to raise it, and remember that a longer barcode number divides the same width into more bars. Anything thinner than one printer dot cannot print cleanly and will fail to scan.
